Job Description
About the Opportunity Sick of the extreme heat, or just looking for a better quality of life? Relocate to Sandpoint, Idaho ! Located right on Lake Pend Oreille and surrounded by mountains, world-class fly fishing, and ski resorts, this is an outdoor lover’s paradise.
Burnett Transmission has been an established, highly profitable staple in North Idaho for 25 years. We are the only dedicated transmission shop serving a two-county radius (Bonner and Kootenai counties), which means we have zero local competition and a constant backlog of work.
The current owner is 67 and actively stepping back. We aren't just looking for an employee; we are looking for a true Lead Transmission Rebuilder and Foreman to run the floor, make excellent money, and potentially take over the legacy of the shop. I am looking for someone who doesn't need babysitting—I am looking for "me."
The Role We are strictly looking for a highly experienced Transmission Rebuilder. We are not looking for a general dealership master tech, and we are not looking for a lube tech. You must be able to tear down, diagnose, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions at an elite level.
